About the Author Born in 1985 in Slovakia, I grew up with a passion for sports and storytelling. After pursuing hockey in Canada, life led me through both triumphs and tough losses. Today, I’m an entrepreneur in real estate, construction, and digital marketing. I create e-books inspired by my journey, my son’s bedtime stories, my love for mindset, fitness, and cooking. STORY STORE is my way of sharing real stories, lessons, and passion with the world.

I was born in 1985 in the city of Prešov, Slovakia, and raised in Banská Bystrica alongside my older brother. From the age of five, I played ice hockey and was active in various sports. Hockey eventually took me all the way to Canada, where I had the opportunity to play and study – living a dream I worked hard for.
Unfortunately, life often delivers its hardest blows when we least expect them. During my time in Canada, my greatest supporter – my father – passed away. Soon after, I suffered an injury that ended my hockey career prematurely. I returned to Slovakia and enrolled in university. That same year, my grandfather (my father’s father) also passed away.
The years that followed brought more challenges. I changed jobs often, and in each role, I quickly worked my way up. My longest tenure was with a telecommunications company. But then came another tragedy – my older brother, a father of two young children, was in a serious car accident. He was left paralyzed and, sadly, mentally impaired. Today he is at least able to use a wheelchair, but communication remains like speaking with a small child.
In 2018, I started my first business in real estate. In 2021, I expanded into construction. And in 2024, I became an exclusive distributor and began working in digital marketing. Of course, entrepreneurship is far from easy – as I described in more detail in my book Have You Ever Been Broke?, which tells the real story behind building (and rebuilding) a business.
Why e-books?
The older I get and the deeper I dive into business, the more thoughts I have running through my mind. Creating e-books gives me a way to capture and share them.
Children’s stories come naturally – I have a young son, and reading bedtime stories has become a special part of our routine. Mindset and motivation are close to my heart because I’ve lived through experiences that could fill several lifetimes, and what I’ve written here is not even 1% of it.
Fitness has always been a part of me. Even now, in my 40s, I stay active and try to lead by example for my son. And cooking? That’s my passion – I love creating meals for myself, my son, and my beloved wife, who is a vegetarian.
Story Store is more than just a shop. It’s my journey. My ideas, my stories, and everything that grows from who I am.
